Brittany Pilgrim (formally Brittany Raper as she is recently married) spent 5 years studying, living and working in New York City. During that time, she got her BFA in Acting from New York University, acted in Off-Off Broadway productions, New York theatre productions and and shot various short and feature films. One of the feature films she acted in, The Last Christmas Party, is now available on Amazon Prime.
She also created NYC's first & only all-female stand up comedy training and production company, Women Stand Up. As WSU Co-Founder, Producer & Owner, she sold out off-off broadway theaters, led over 40 women through their first time doing stand up and built a business that is still alive today. She also performed as a comedian herself at Gotham Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and The People's Improv Theatre.
Though it was hard to leave her badass community of beautiful talented women behind, she has since moved her work back to beautiful BC where she grew up.
Brittany works as an actor based in Vancouver under the representation of CTM International with Linda Carter. As an actor, she has honed her comedy skills.
